Driving Health and Budgetary Impact
To address low vaccination compliance rates and prevent financial losses, LAUSD required a digital solution that could streamline health record management and improve student health outcomes. In partnership with Vive Concierge, Dusseau & Co. developed a secure and user-friendly mobile and web app that simplified vaccination verification processes, empowered parents to manage their student's health records, and reduced LAUSD’s financial burden due to noncompliance.

The Challenge
LAUSD’s outdated vaccination management process led to low compliance rates, putting the district at risk of losing critical state funding. The cumbersome process for managing vaccination records left many families unable to meet requirements, impacting school funding and jeopardizing student health. Without an effective solution, the district faced continued financial strain and health risks for students.
The Impact
Our implementation of the immunization assitant platform had an immediate and transformative impact on LAUSD’s health compliance processes. By automating vaccination management and providing parents with easy access to their children’s health records, compliance rates soared by 75%. This improvement directly led to the recovery of $1 million per day in state funding, previously lost due to noncompliance. The platform also improved operational efficiency, streamlining health record management and reducing administrative burden, empowering families and school administrators to work together for a healthier school environment.
